Is the Inoya Cup beginner friendly?

Yes! The Inoya Period Cup was thoughtfully designed to address the common challenges people face when trying a cup for the first time. It’s one of the softest, most beginner-friendly menstrual cups available. The ultra-soft silicone helps with easy insertion, and the loop design makes removal much simpler (no awkward digging or guessing!). If you’re new to cups, Inoya is a gentle, confidence-building place to start.

Is the Inoya Cup suitable for people with a high cervix?

Yes! If you have a high cervix, we recommend starting with the Super or Regular size, depending on your flow.

Our bell-shaped design is made to accommodate a variety of pelvic shapes, and the unique loop handle makes the cup easy to reach and remove—whether you have a high or low cervix.

How long does a menstrual cup last?

With proper care, it can last up to 10 years. But, we recommend replacing it every 3 years to keep things fresh and fabulous.

How do I clean my menstrual cup?

Sterilise it at the beginning and end of each cycle. Our compact steriliser makes cleaning simple and fuss-free.

During use, just rinse it with running water and you’re good to go!

Can I swim or exercise while wearing a cup?

Absolutely! You can definitely swim or exercise with your cup. Just a heads-up: if you're doing low to moderate exercise while your cup is full (like swimming), the pressure on your pelvic muscles might cause some leakage. To keep things worry-free, make sure to empty your cup at least 1 to 4 hours before hitting the pool or gym.

Good cup, but a bit short

Excellent customer service and good to know that it can be returned if it doesn't work for you. This cup is on the shorter end of things with the Super size being 55mm total length, while many popular cups are around 70mm total length. For those with low cervixes who find the stems annoying, or who need to trim them, this might be great. But for those who have a high cervix and bodies that take the cup a long way inside, they might find it a bit challenging to remove. The loop stem does help, but I do have to really stretch it down to be able to get a good hold of it. It would be good if they could add a second 'rung' to the ladder stem which would be easier to get hold of.

It is a soft cup and feels nice. When it comes out, it doesn't pop open suddenly snapping against the skin, which is a positive. I insert it with a small 7-fold and it usually opens up well for me. It didn't work so well when I did a bigger 7-fold. With a bit of adjusting, I can usually get it to open fully.

If you're not sure about buying it, Helena is happy to discuss it with you, and the returns policy is there, so you can feel assured that if it doesn't work for you, you can return it and get your money back. Really the only issue for me is that the stem is a bit short which makes it a bit difficult to remove, but I am still going to stick with it anyway.

Its very comfortable and it holds my flow well. I find that the ring makes it easier to take out and doesn’t irritate like a conventional stem would. It also arrived right before my flight! Thanks again to Helena and the lovely team at Inoya for sending it to me via Express Post! :)

Really happy with this cup! It’s softer than what I’ve used before, so it took a little getting used to with the folding and making sure it popped open properly inside. A couple of times early on it didn’t fully open and I had some leakage, but once I got the hang of it, it was super easy to use (the trick is to push it and pull slightly up to make sure it opens and is place.)

It's super comfortable (even forgot about it a few times - oops!) And the little hook makes it super easy to get out. The packaging is great (every detail is very thoughtful) and easy to store and it works perfectly with the cup steriliser. Very happy!

Super comfortable and easy to use

Having used period cups for quite a few years prior I was excited to try the Inoya and am super impressed.
It is so comfortable to wear I hardly notice it, The rubber is super soft and easy to insert and the sterilised makes it so simple to clean!
The fact it is also low tox and sustainable is just the added bonus.
If I had to choose between the Inoya and previous ones I have used, I would pick the Inoya every time now and have been fully converted.

Fantastic product

This wonderful product made the transition from pads to the cup so much easier. It is very comfortable- at times I even forgot I have it on. The little loop at the bottom is genius, makes it so much easier to remove. Would highly recommend for anyone wanting a healthier, more sustainable option for managing period hygiene.

Inoya period cup

I've found the Inoya cup really comfortable, especially on my lighter days. I've used the Tom Organic period cup in the past, but I find the Inoya Cup works better for me when my flow is lighter. It's soft, easy to insert.

Really easy to use - I'd recommend the cup to beginners who might feel a little nervous

I was really impressed at how great the the Inoya cup's design is. The looped handle makes it seamless to insert and pull out - I definitely think the cup is a great place to start - for anyone who's been wanting to make the switch to more a sustainable period care product. Highly recommend!
