About Helena, Our Founder

Hi, I’m Helena, the Founder of Inoya. I live in Brisbane with my family, on the land of the Turrbal and Jagera peoples.

Inoya was created because we are frustrated by the lack of real innovation in period care—the way substandard products have been the norm for too long, the harmful chemicals that still show up in everyday essentials, and the silence that keeps menstruation a taboo topic.

At Inoya, we believe no woman should have to compromise her health by unknowingly expose herself to unsafe products every month.

As a woman, mother, and public health practitioner, I understand how crucial this is for our health. More than just a period care brand, Inoya is built on a mission to provide non-toxic, effective, and sustainable solutions you can trust, while also giving back.

WE ARE FOUNDED ON

Transparency

Women should know what they put in their bodies. We disclose 100% of our product ingredients so you can make an informed decision about what is safe for you.

WE ARE FOUNDED ON

Sky high standards

All our products undergo rigorous testing to meet strict quality and safety criteria, approved by the Korean FDA. We strive for the highest quality and safety standards possible, ensuring you can trust the care we put into every product.

WE ARE FOUNDED ON

Non-toxic Ingredients

We do not add any unnecessary chemicals such as dyes, chlorine, or bleaches to improve our product performance. Your health and safety are our top priority.

WE ARE FOUNDED ON

Sustainability

We strive to use genuinely sustainable materials in all our products. Many manufacturers currently use petrochemical-derived fibers to make their reusable period pads and underwear, which don't biodegrade for hundreds of years. We don't think that's good enough and we want to do better.
