About Helena, Our Founder

Hi, I’m Helena, the founder of Inoya. I live in Brisbane with my family, on the land of the Turrbal and Jagera peoples.

Inoya was born from frustration—the kind that builds when you realise many period products still contain hidden chemicals, haven’t changed in decades, and leave women with little to no transparency. As a woman, a mother, and a public health practitioner, I knew we deserved better.

Inoya is here to offer safe, sustainable care—made with purpose, and driven by trust.

Today, innovation and collaboration remain at the core of Inoya’s DNA—pushing for better standards, better materials, and a better experience for every person who bleeds.

Period Care You Can Trust

We’re proud to be an Australian-owned, purpose-driven brand on a mission to create real impact.

For the planet — by offering reusables made with non-toxic, sustainable materials
For people — by supporting period dignity, education, and access
With transparency — no hidden ingredients, no shortcuts, no compromises
With care — every product is rigorously tested to meet the highest standards for quality and safety

Because when it comes to your body—and our planet—you deserve better. And we’re here to make that happen.

Small Switch. Big Impact.

By choosing Inoya, our community has already helped keep over 93,000 disposable period products out of landfill—and out of our oceans.

Together, we’ve saved an estimated 13,000 kg of CO₂ emissions—that’s the climate equivalent of taking three cars off the road for an entire year or planting over 200 trees.

And we’re just getting started.

Because when you switch to Inoya, you’re not just choosing what touches your body— You're part of a growing movement reshaping period care—for our bodies and the planet.

Period care with purpose

We work with social enterprises to produce our reusable pads ethically—supporting women from vulnerable communities with meaningful work. And through our giveback initiatives, we help deliver period care and education to those who need it most.

Real change starts with real conversations

From running workshops to supporting community-led initiatives, we’re committed to action.

Got an idea to make period care safer, fairer, or more accessible?

Tell us. We’re listening.
And we’d love to collaborate.
